Service Technician - Port Machinery & Crane
Location: Bedburg
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Port Machinery (eg: Telehandler, forklifts, heavy forklifts, reach stacker.)
* Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to company standards.
* Support in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
* Replace components such as filters, hydraulic hoses, pumps, and mechanical parts.
* Ensure accurate reporting of work performed and parts used.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and work environment in proper condition.
* Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with site regulations.
Requirements:
* Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or similar.
* Hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment is an advantage.
* Basic understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
* Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
* German language required ; English is a plus.
* Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor or on-site environments.
* Willingness to travel for service visits when needed.
