Your tasks
* Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical roadmap for Generative AI initiatives, aligning with business objectives and identifying high-impact use cases.
* Advanced LLM/RAG Development: Design and implement sophisticated knowledge retrieval pipelines, optimizing for performance, scalability, and accuracy. Develop and fine-tune LLMs for specialized tasks, utilizing advanced techniques.
* Technical Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior AI engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
* Infrastructure & Scalability: Design and optimize the AI infrastructure to support the growing demands of Generative AI applications, including model serving, data pipelines, and monitoring systems.
* Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate with stakeholders across all departments to translate business needs into technical solutions and influence AI adoption.
* Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of research and identify opportunities to apply new technologies to solve challenging business problems.
* Evaluation & Performance Analysis: Develop and implement robust evaluation metrics and monitoring systems to track the performance of AI solutions and drive continuous improvement.
* Documentation & Best Practices: Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation and best practices for AI development and deployment.
Your qualifications
* Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models, with a significant focus on Generative AI.
* Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with advanced libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch and Langchain.
* Deep understanding of state-of-the-art Large Language Models including architecture, training techniques, and evaluation methodologies. Demonstrated experience with fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RLHF.
* Extensive experience building and deploying production-grade (RAG) systems at scale. Deep knowledge of vector databases and indexing techniques.
* Transformer Architecture & Algorithms: Deep and demonstrable understanding of transformer architectures. Experience implementing and modifying transformer models is essential.
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline design.
* Demonstrated ability to lead software development projects and mentor junior engineers. Ability to define and initiate new software projects, establishing a solid foundation for long-term sustainable success.
* 2+ years of experience with a major cloud provider. Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) and OpenShift, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
* Deep understanding of MLOps principles and experience with tools for automating the deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models is a plus.
* Proven experience architecting and implementing complex agentic AI systems, utilizing advanced frameworks and design patterns is a plus.
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices for AI development and deployment.
