To support our ambitious growth and strategic objectives, we are looking for a Head of Finance who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Your mission:This role is central to ensuring robust financial planning, reporting, and controlling processes across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial systems, improving processes, and supporting business performance, while acting as a trusted partner to management and operational teams.
Your Tasks
* Lead the management of key financial processes including budgeting, planning, forecasting, annual closures, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
* Drive fundraising activities including preparation of pitch decks, business case modelling, financial due diligence, and investor presentations.
* Oversee the development and continuous improvement of cost centers, in-house accounting structures, and controlling systems.
* Manage liquidity planning and cash flow optimization to ensure financial stability.
* Coordinate all tax-related matters across operational sites in Europe.
* Support project delivery through project controlling and monitoring of financial KPIs.
* Identify, analyse, and resolve financial and business risks while uncovering opportunities for performance improvement.
* Provide insights and strategic recommendations to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and shareholder value.
Your Qualifications
* Degreein Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* 10+ years ofprofessional finance experience in Germany, ideally within industrial ortechnical industries.
* Strongtrack record in setting up professional reporting, liquidity management,and controlling systems.
* Experiencewith accounting for development projects in a technical/industrialenvironment.
* Fluentin English and German (written and verbal).
* Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Structured,solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Provenleadership skills with a collaborative, trustworthy, and empatheticapproach.
* Motivationto continuously optimize processes and add value in a growth environment.
