EHS Manager – Semiconductor Industry Weilheim or Munich surrounding area, Germany
We are looking for an
experienced EHS Manager
to join our semiconductor facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional with deep expertise in
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)
management,
clean room environments, and local regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do: Establish and maintain an EHS management system aligned with international & national standards (ISO 14000, OHSAS18000). Ensure compliance, maintain existing systems, and drive continuous improvement. Coordinate
internal and external audits. Collaborate with
local authorities, accident insurers, safety regulators, and environmental agencies. Guide departments to identify risks, implement improvements, and execute safety checks, risk assessments, emergency plans, and drills. Organize and deliver
employee EHS training. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s or Master’s in
Chemistry, Electronics, or equivalent. Certified Safety Engineer (or equivalent). 10+ years
in EHS management, ideally in the
semiconductor industry. Strong understanding of
clean room operations. Open-minded, hands-on, and cross-culturally aware. Fluent in English & German
(written and spoken). Ability to work in
multicultural, cross-functional teams. Willing to
relocate to Weilheim area, hold a
valid German work permit, and work on-site. Deep knowledge of
local regulations
and experience liaising with government authorities.
