The role:
* Build and lead the company’s direct marketing and hedging function from the ground up.
* Develop and execute strategies for selling electricity directly into the market.
* Negotiate and manage power sales contracts and key commercial relationships.
* Design and implement hedging solutions to mitigate price volatility and manage risk.
* Oversee Guarantees of Origin (GOO) trading and compliance processes.
* Align commercial activities with production forecasts, financial targets, and regulatory frameworks.
The person:
* Experienced in the German electricity market, with a strong understanding of direct marketing, hedging, and energy sales.
* Commercially savvy, strategic, and comfortable working hands-on to get things done.
* Fluency in English and German.
