Position Overview
Join our European Calibre Foundry/Semi Manufacturing Solution team as an Application Engineer and become a trusted advisor to our customers. You'll be part of a high-performing, creative, and dynamic application engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and debugging Calibre-based OPC/RET solutions. Working from our Dresden location, you'll engage with existing and potential customers across Europe, North America, and Asia, driving the adoption of Calibre tools and providing technical leadership throughout the sales and deployment process. You'll collaborate closely with our Calibre product and R&D teams to deploy the latest computational lithography technology and solve complex technical challenges in the semiconductor manufacturing space.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a subject matter expert in Computational Lithography (OPC/RET), providing problem-solving solutions tailored to customer challenges
* Develop and deploy solutions with customers and manufacturing partners to address challenges in computational lithography, OPC modeling, advanced mask correction, and fab defect inspection and review
* Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training on Calibre OPC/RET/MPC platforms to new and existing customers
* Drive adoption, proliferation, and successful production deployment of Calibre products throughout the design-to-mask workflow
* Travel to customer sites across Europe, North America, and Asia to provide on-site technical support and ensure customer success
* Collaborate with product and R&D teams to integrate latest computational lithography advancements into customer solutions
Qualifications
* Master's degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.) or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field - or equivalent
* Experience in the semiconductor industry with demonstrated knowledge of OPC, Computational Lithography, advanced mask correction, or defect inspection flows
* Intermediate rogramming skills in Python, Tcl, or C/C++
* Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with familiarity in script languages
* Strong knowledge and background in modeling and simulation for optics, electromagnetic waves, or photoresist
* Self-motivated and enthusiastically focused on problem-solving with strong technical and written communication skills
* Direct experience with Siemens Calibre OPC/RET platform - preferred
* Experience in customer-facing technical roles or application engineering - preferred

Our Benefits & Rewards
The total cash compensation range for this position is EUR 104,600 to EUR 209,100 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
