SITE MANAGER (CSA)
FRANKFURT, GERMANY
We're recruiting an experienced Site Manager (CSA) for a major Frankfurt Data Centre project during its main construction phase. This is a hands-on senior role managing multiple trades, coordinating schedules, and maintaining quality and safety standards across a complex, fast-paced construction environment. You'll work directly with the Senior Project Manager /Project Director, client, and consultants on a project with significant commercial and reputational importance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all site operations during main construction phases; ensure seamless transition from early-stage works
* Coordinate trades; resolve on-site conflicts and maintain schedule integrity
* Implement and enforce site health, safety, and environmental policies; conduct daily safety briefings and inspections
* Track overall site progress against agreed schedule; produce weekly progress reports with schedule commentary and forecasts
* Manage subcontractor performance, quality control, and compliance; conduct regular toolbox talks and site meetings
* Oversee site logistics, material handling, temporary works, and general site housekeeping standards
* Liaise with client, main contractor, consultants, and statutory authorities on site matters
* Support commissioning preparation and final snagging activities; maintain comprehensive project records
* Manage site budget awareness and report cost/schedule variances to Senior PM
* Lead site team morale and professional development; manage site office administration
Requirements:
* 12+ years site management experience on large complex projects
* Proven experience managing multiple trades during main construction phases
* Expertise in commercial/critical facilities construction preferred
* Strong scheduling, coordination, and programme management skills
* Demonstrated health and safety leadership
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
* Proficient with project management software and site management tools
* Leadership experience managing site teams of 20+ personnel
This is a substantial role for a Site Manager with proven track record on major projects. You'll need strong leadership presence, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate multiple disciplines under pressure. The project offers significant scope for impact and advancement. Whilst a permanent hire is preferred we may consider freelance candidates with exceptional experience.
