WHAT WE NEED YOU FOR
1. You will design and write a master’s thesis on predictive maintenance for the wash pump of a commercial dishwasher.
2. The master's thesis should develop a holistic approach to AI-supported condition monitoring of the wash pump – from suitable sensor technology and data acquisition to analysis and condition prediction.
3. You will analyze the current state of the art in predictive maintenance and condition monitoring of pump systems and derive relevant approaches for your work.
4. You will identify and evaluate suitable sensors and/or telemetry data for monitoring the condition of wash pumps.
5. You will process and interpret the collected data and identify characteristic parameters for pump condition.
6. You will develop a data-based analysis model that evaluates the pump’s condition and predicts its remaining service life and failure probability.
7. You will independently conduct validation tests—either in the lab or under real operating conditions—and assess the accuracy of your predictions.
8. Collaboration with a parallel master's project is guaranteed in order to make optimal use of synergies in data structures, platforms, and methodological approaches.
9. You will systematically document your results and derive practical recommendations for implementation in series development.
