Position Overview The ECM Associate in Frankfurt will support both the origination and execution of equity and equity‑linked capital markets transactions across EMEA. This includes IPOs, follow‑ons, block trades, rights issues, ABBs, and convertible or structured equity deals. The role involves significant exposure to senior bankers, clients, and investors, with a focus on the German-speaking market. Key Responsibilities Deal Execution Support execution of IPOs, rights issues, follow-ons, block trades, and equity‑linked transactions. Prepare offering documentation, investor presentations, prospectus materials, and internal approval memos. Coordinate across internal stakeholders (Investment Banking, Legal, Compliance, Sales & Trading, Syndicate) and external advisors. Assist with investor engagement, bookbuilding processes, and roadshow logistics. Financial & Market Analysis Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to support transaction structuring. Analyse market conditions, trading dynamics, and peer group performance to support pricing recommendations. Prepare market updates and comparable analysis to assist with client discussions and pitch preparation. Origination & Client Coverage Create pitchbooks, market analyses, transaction case studies, and strategic materials for client meetings. Assist in identifying new equity financing opportunities, monitoring market trends, and supporting strategic idea generation. Participate in client meetings, diligence sessions, and internal planning discussions. Cross-Border Collaboration Partner with Jefferies’ ECM teams across EMEA and the US to coordinate global deal execution. Support multi‑jurisdictional transactions requiring cross-office collaboration. Qualifications & Skills At least 2 years of experience in Equity Capital Markets, M&A or Debt Capital Markets. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. Deep understanding of equity capital markets dynamics and transaction structures. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
