Your tasks
• Development of drive concepts and their transfer into technically feasible solutions
• Control and coordination of individual assemblies - from project planning through design and manufacturing support to testing and handover to the customer
• Independent creation and maintenance of technical drawings and design documents with a focus on functionality
• Supporting the purchasing department in selecting suitable components, as well as the technical evaluation of offers and coordination with potential sub-suppliers
• Contact person for internal departments, customers, suppliers and classification societies in all technical matters relating to drive technology
Your profile
• Completed studies in (marine) mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study, alternatively further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) with relevant practical experience
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in the maritime or industrial plant environment
• Experience in creating and editing complex technical drawings and assemblies
• Proficient use of 3D CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX), product lifecycle management systems (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter) and common MS Office applications
Desired qualifications:
• Prior experience in handling system requirements and processing them in DOORS is desirable
Additional requirements:
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips (approx. 5%) within Germany
• Willingness and prerequisite for a security clearance check according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG), Level 2 is mandatory.
• Strong technical communication skills in German and English, even when dealing with complex issues
• Solution-oriented, structured and independent work style combined with team spirit and a passion for innovation
• Analytical thinking skills, organizational talent, and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
