Our team is currently recruiting for this role, which incorporates the leading and managing responsibility for the delivery of the design, implementation, and continued improvement of new, enhanced, and existing business software applications and processes for Avnet Embedded.
Experience Required:
1. Experience leading & managing
2. Knowledge of Application Software Landscape
3. Experience working with Business Process Analysts / Architects / Strategic Business Process Managers and aligning with senior management.
4. Responsible for NEXT strategic application & process roadmap
5. Production of content and documentation
6. Implementation of projects, including tracking projects and regular reviews
7. Ability to align Project management, including setup / tools / methodology
Candidate Profile:
8. Good competence in functional and disciplinary leadership.
9. Very strong interpersonal and social skills and persuasive power.
10. Structured working methods and ability to work independently with personal responsibility and a proactive approach
11. SAP Knowledge with multi-year experience in delivering SAP projects
12. Basic understanding of infrastructure concepts in a global corporate environment
13. Certified Process and Change Management (ADKAR, Six-Sigma)
14. Very good understanding of the business process value chain as well as the economic and logistical contexts.
15. Strong analytical skills
16. Know-how in process analysis and process design
17. Very good communication and presentation skills
18. Project management experience
19. English and German language
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
The application ownership in terms of:
20. Existing R&D software landscape, including global R&D toolchain
21. Training, adoption, and deployment of application software
22. Maintenance, costing, life cycle, deployment
23. New software introduction & integration
SAP and related applications-consulting & service-delivery in terms of:
24. Specifications for the SAP/EP1-based business processes
25. Third-party software integration/migration/maintenance (e.g. MES / FEM / Bensberg)
26. Design of concepts/requirements review/design & Implementation:
27. Test and roll out of deliverables
28. Definition of SAP release proposals in cooperation with internal teams.
29. Responsible for principal project management
30. Business and operational process development projects
31. Third-party software integration projects
32. Align NEXT strategy with system, application and process requirements.
33. Lead of system setting, application and process priorities.
34. Definition of goals & scheduling of tasks within the team, reviewing of results, coaching of team members, Appraisals, and Solving of conflicts.
35. Management of IT Development Services – Alignment and cooperation with the IT Development management (GIS)
Additional Tasks
36. Functional Support – Management of application-relevant tasks within NEXT/Embedded Production
37. Production Support – Competent contact in terms of application questions for the Business Process Analysts, the strategic business process managers as well as the business management
