What You'll Do:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in implementing and refining our hybrid cloud platforms. You'll ensure they are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, supporting our evolving business needs and strategic direction.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Platform Evolution: Implements scalable, secure, and cost-efficient hybrid cloud platform solutions.
2. Technology Standards: Defines best practices and standards for cloud-native technologies and their adoption.
3. Strategic Consulting: Advises on cloud service selection and cloud migration strategies, supporting Amadeus Cloud Strategy.
About the Ideal Candidate:
You are an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong architectural mindset, passionate about building robust, maintainable cloud infrastructure. You possess deep knowledge of cloud-native patterns and a commitment to defining and adhering to best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
4. Cloud Platform Implementation: Proven experience in implementing and managing platforms on major cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
5. Cloud-Native Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, serverless, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
6. Infrastructure Design: Ability to design highly available, secure, and performant cloud solutions.
7. Standardization & Governance: Experience defining and enforcing architectural standards and best practices for cloud adoption.
8. Strategic Influence: Capable of advising on technology choices and migration paths to align with broader business and cloud strategies.
9. IaC & Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) for platform delivery.
10. Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
