In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Physik, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.03.2026 at the following conditions:

Your tasks:
4. Preparation and characterization of 2D materials using methods of surface science, especially scanning tunneling microscopy (STM)
5. Investigation of the electronic properties of ultrathin semiconductors, e. g. molybdenum disulfide
6. Teaching duties of 3 SWS beginning January 2028
7. Assistance in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs of the Department of Physics
Your profile:
8. Outstanding Master's or equivalent degree in Physics or a related field
9. Reliable knowledge of solid state physics
10. Good English skills
11. Desirable are Experience in running UHV setups Knowledge of 2D materials Experience with scanning probe methods, especially STM
