SAP Basis / Senior Technical Administration Consultant (m/f/d)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Technical Administration Consultant (m/f/d) to manage, maintain, and optimize our SAP system landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and stability of complex SAP environments while supporting ongoing system enhancements and lifecycle management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure SAP system availability and continuously optimize systems to guarantee maximum performance
2. Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and monitor SAP systems and related infrastructure
3. Manage transports and system modifications across SAP environments
4. Ensure the smooth operation of the SAP system landscape, including:
SAP ERP
SAP EWM
SAP GTS
SAP BW / BW4HANA
SAP S/4HANA
SAP Fiori
SAP Solution Manager / Cloud ALM
SAP HCM
5. Monitor, evaluate, and report system performance and capacity to ensure business requirements are met
6. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
7. Plan, implement, and oversee patches, upgrades, and overall lifecycle management activities
8. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence
Qualifications & Experience
9. Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in SAP Technical Administration, preferably with a strong SAP Basis background
10. Extensive hands-on experience with:
SAP S/4HANA
SAP ECC
SAP HR
SAP NetWeaver
SAP BW / BW4HANA
SAP BTP
SAP Cloud Connector
SAP Fiori / Gateway (Embedded and Distributed)
SAP Cloud ALM
SAP Solution Manager
SAP Web Dispatcher
SAP Business Objects Platform (Business Intelligence and Data Services)
11. Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and architecture
12. Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems
13. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and/or RISE with SAP is considered a strong advantage
14. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
15. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Education & Certifications
16. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
17. SAP certifications are a plus
18. Hyperscaler certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are considered an advantage
Language Skills
19. Fluent German and English communication skills (written and spoken) are required
