Freight Sales and Project Coordination is a key role within our organization.
* Support the freight sales team with data analysis and report creation to ensure accurate insights for business growth.
* Manage Inside Sales operations, including quotations, agreements, and CRM usage to maximize customer engagement.
* Provide excellent customer support by addressing queries regarding timetable, prices, and conditions, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
* Supervise interns and apprentices, providing guidance and training to help them develop essential skills.
* Maintain accurate customer data by entering new information, requesting updates, and providing necessary details as required.
* Pricing & Invoicing for freight involves supporting the pricing & invoicing process, optimizing existing processes, and ensuring effective system usage.
* Handle incoming invoices by distributing and checking them for the freight department to maintain efficient operations.
* Participate in projects to drive growth, innovation, and improvement within the organization.
* Contribute to freight software development through coordination, specification writing, and system testing to enhance our capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication.
* A completed administrative or business education is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in business principles.
* Initial experience in administrative and project work, as well as customer service in shipping or logistics, is desired to provide a strong background.
* Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office-Word/Excel/PowerPoint, are required to effectively manage tasks and data.
* A well-structured mind-set and process understanding are necessary to organize tasks efficiently.
