PACE Engineering and IT, a company of the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, security, and evolution of the software deployment and operational IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will serve as a C++ Software Developer and will be part of the “Test Frameworks Backend Services” team, which reports to the “Test Frameworks and Instrumentation” department and operates within the “TEYV Flight & Integration Test Centre” competence center.
The department is the primary provider of test and simulation tools for various aerospace programs, supporting the development, integration, and testing phases with our tools.
Main Responsibilities
Design and develop software for our simulation and testing support software in C++
Develop the framework architecture in the areas of middleware and real-time applications
Apply cutting-edge technologies and techniquesActively contribute to virtual engineering (a mixed environment of simulations and real hardware)
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Required Skills
At least 3–4 years of experience, particularly in C++ programming (C++17 or later);
Solid knowledge of software design, models, and architecture, as well as system programming and cross-platform development
Familiarity with network protocols, fieldbuses (e.g., CAN, ARINC, AFDX), or distributed systems is a plus
English language proficiency
The following are a plus
- Knowledge of networks, fieldbuses, and distributed systems is a plus
- Knowledge of German
