About the Role
A leading European retail organization is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive the design and evolution of its SAP S/4HANA landscape within a complex enterprise environment. This role plays a critical part in aligning business strategy with IT architecture and ensuring scalable, future-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities
S/4HANA Enterprise Architecture
* Translate business strategy into application and system architecture
* Define lifecycle management across enterprise systems and applications
Architecture Roadmap & Transformation
* Design and manage the transition from current-state to target architecture
* Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, including interim states
Architecture Governance & Decision-Making
* Facilitate key architectural decisions across stakeholders
* Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives
* Lead or contribute to architecture governance forums (e.g., design authority boards)
Integration Strategy & Oversight
* Define and govern integration architecture across SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems
* Oversee interface management to ensure efficient data flow and system interoperability
Your Profile
* 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with strong focus on SAP environments
* Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs (greenfield and/or brownfield)
* Proven track record in defining and governing enterprise-wide architecture roadmaps
* Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including modules, extensions, and integrations
* Experience working with senior stakeholders and driving architectural alignment
* Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
