As Financial Controller for the Offshore Operations business within the EU you will be responsible to coordinate the Controlling activities for several offshore wind farms
About the role:
1. Operational planning and reporting, and the mid-term planning for several offshore wind farms.
2. Monitor financial and operational KPIs on a monthly basis
3. Advise the Operations Team in order to improve financial performance and value for the assets
4. Manage, develop and coordinate reporting and planning processes for the business area
5. Undertake project work in order to standardize and develop reporting practices for the new combined business
6. Liaise with internal counterparties within the RWE group (Accounting, Tax, Central Controlling) and external stakeholders in our assets
7. Act as financial business partner for Offshore management in order to identify innovative solutions and safeguard successful development of the business
Job requirements and experience:
8. Completed university studies in Business Administration or Finance, or STEM with supplementary qualifications in finance.
9. Solid numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
10. Professional experience in a commercial environment
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and develop effective working relationships both within the Controlling team and the wider business
12. High level of self-organisation, personal engagement, energy and flexibility
13. English and German required. Dutch and Danish advantageous
14. Ability to work effectively across different countries and cultures

15. Knowledge of the value drivers in Offshore Wind
16. Additional relevant European languages (German, Dutch, Danish)
17. Experience with relevant financial IT applications: SAP Business Warehouse, Visual Analytics, PowerQuery, PowerBI
