Your tasks
* Disciplinary and professional leadership of the Global Data Governance Workstream and the assigned employees, for example, Data Stewards.
* Responsibility for the development and implementation of a group-wide data governance model as the central foundation of the Excellence House.
* Definition and control of group-wide governance rules for data quality, data responsibility, data lifecycles, access logics, metadata and master data standards.
* Central decision-making and escalation body for questions regarding data ownership, data standards, data quality and responsibilities.
* Ensuring consistent data definitions and quality requirements across divisions, regions, and functions.
* Establishing effective roles, responsibilities, and routines to sustainably ensure data quality and data availability.
* Close integration with E2E Architecture, E2E Digitalization, Process Mining, IT and the business units to ensure data-driven scalability, transparency and decision-making capability.
* Supporting business units in translating technical requirements into clear data rules, governance standards, and responsibility models.
* Ensuring that data is not managed in isolation, but acts as a connecting foundation for process architecture, digitization, automation, process mining and performance management.
Your profile
* Completed studies in a technical or economic field.
* Solid expertise in data governance, ownership models and data lifecycle principles.
* Ability to translate technical requirements into clear data rules, responsibilities, and standards.
* High alignment and assertiveness in complex organizational structures (business, IT, functions).
* Experience in defining decision-critical data, metadata, and basic data structures.
* Strong analytical skills and pronounced conceptual thinking abilities.
* Ability to reduce complexity and to communicate principles clearly, understandably and in a way that is appropriate for the target audience.
* Excellent German and English skills.
* Resilience and professional credibility to consistently embed standards across the entire group and across all units.
* Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%).
