You are acting as a Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:
6. Capture and translate customer needs into clear system specification and acceptance criteria
7. Shape technical roadmap together with a team of system- & software engineers, breaking down requirements into tasks and milestones
8. Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical improvements, and customer feedback
9. Drive the development of user-centric, high-performance UIs with Qt/QML, aligning design with usability and architectural integrity
10. Perform risk management activities by proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact delivery
11. Ensure high-quality product delivery on time within agreed budget and scope
12. Manage collaboration with external suppliers and subcontractors, ensure seamless integration into the overall system
13. Regularly monitor, evaluate and report progress, challenges and customer feedback. Keep stakeholders informed
Your profile:
14. Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace or comparable
15. Work experience in the field of Engineering and Aerospace
16. Professional experience across the entire system engineering lifecycle of simulation projects
17. Experience in managing external suppliers and subcontractors
18. Understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps pipelines, containerization)
19. Familiarity of software technologies (C++, Ot/QML)
20. Understanding of military aircraft systems, operational procedures and mission workflows is considered as an advantage
21. Fluent English skills, written and spoken
22. German skills would be a plus
