To provide the best quality of technology and products to the customers, the role in this position is expected to ensure regulatory compliance in EMEA region, and to promote cross-functional collaboration and business alignment.
In this role your mission is to ensure full regulatory compliance, foster seamless cross-functional collaboration, and help align global operations with regional needs.
Support Compliance: Play a key role in supporting the certification process by working closely with Wacom's certification team in Japan, the German sales team, and local importers across the EMEA region—ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
Be the Go-To Expert: Act as the central contact for all EMEA-related inquiries around product compliance, regulations, and certifications. You'll collaborate directly with Japan's regulatory and compliance teams to keep communication smooth and aligned.
Manage Strategic Partners: Oversee contracts and relationships with regional service providers in EMEA, coordinate environmental data collection, and streamline the reporting process to meet legal and internal expectations.
This includes full budget management and accurate tracking of all associated costs.
Safeguard Market Access: Work with market surveillance authorities in case of requests concerning product compliance, data assessments, and audits - ensuring our products meet all standard.
~3–5 years of relevant experience in certification, regulatory compliance, or environmental data reporting.
~ Working knowledge of certification platforms and document management tools.
~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities—comfortable working cross-functionally and internationally.
~ Self-management skills with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a global, cross-cultural environment.
~ Experience with international product registration, tariff classification, and trade compliance processes.
~ Strong Excel and data analysis skills; Understanding of product related regulations such as RoHS, EcoDesign, etc. or environmental regulations regarding WEEE/batteries/packaging recycling.
~ Organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
~ Fluent in German and English.
