Job Description:
Your main tasks:
2. TE-wide point of contact for cleaning and joining processes
3. Independent process development of complex processes with a focus on the Manufacturing Readiness Level to improve process KPIs (e.g., process stability)
4. Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning
5. Coordination of activities and timelines between Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, Product Engineering, and other TE departments, as well as with external tool manufacturers, suppliers, and integrators
6. Supporting production teams with complex challenges in the areas of cleaning and joining technologies
7. Identifying suitable business partners and building a network of internal and external experts, institutions, suppliers, and stakeholders
8. Defining basic requirements to standardize new and innovative machinery and manufacturing technologies
9. Conducting market studies to identify new processing techniques and optimization potentials, as well as contributing to the creation of roadmaps
10. Developing ideas and implementing new innovations and concepts for future market needs
11. Sharing acquired knowledge and experience and deriving further best practices / Bills of Processes (process- and product-related) within TE
Your ideal profile:
12. University degree in mechanical engineering or materials science, ideally with a doctorate or many years of practical experience in technically relevant fields
13. Technical understanding of bonding and cleaning technology
14. Practical experience in the design of industrial cleaning systems and bonding processes
15. Committed to identifying and implementing continuous improvements
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
17. Hands-on mentality and results-oriented approach to work
18. Organizational skills and strong communication skills
19. Open to new ideas and innovative
20. Fluency in German and English is required
21. Willingness to travel (approx. 25% - 50%) to provide on-site support at production facilities if necessary
