We invite you to join us as soon as possible at our headquarters in Idstein as a Senior Manager Group Tax (m/f/d).
The story begins:
* Overall responsibility for group-wide tax reporting according to US GAAP, in close collaboration with finance and US corporate tax teams.
* Strategic development and monitoring of transfer pricing guidelines across the group, including coordination with international locations.
* Preparation and review of VAT and corporate income tax returns for German and European entities, involving internal and external partners.
* Reviewing, approving, and ensuring timely submission of VAT returns for German entities and monitoring submissions of European subsidiaries in collaboration with finance.
* Resolving complex tax issues and developing strategic tax solutions for short- and long-term needs.
* Leading and coordinating tax audits and special audits at national and international levels.
* Serving as the main contact for the corporate tax department (USA), external auditors, tax authorities, and tax advisors regarding tax matters.
Your proven path:
* Degree in business administration, finance, law focusing on tax law, or equivalent qualification, preferably with additional training as a tax advisor.
* At least 7 years of experience in a senior tax role within an international company or large tax consultancy.
* Strong knowledge of SAP and extensive experience in corporate tax reporting, ideally in a US-led environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
* Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
* High service orientation for internal and external stakeholders.
* Initiative, responsibility, and the ability to solve complex issues independently.
* Effective collaboration across departments and countries.
* Pragmatic, creative problem-solving skills related to tax challenges.
* Hands-on approach and ability to work independently under time constraints.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Persistence and resilience to drive process improvements.
