Job Title:
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting new customer deployments, configuring and customising solutions to fit clinical workflows, training end-users, and troubleshooting technical application issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support new customer deployments in a healthcare IT environment.
* Configure and customise imaging solutions to meet the needs of radiologists, PACS admins, and IT staff.
* Train end-users on the use of imaging software and systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical application issues in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive customer success and satisfaction.
* Provide post-go-live support and consult on workflow optimisation.
* Travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 30-50% of the time).
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
* At least two years of experience in a healthcare IT environment, applications, or imaging.
* Solid understanding of DICOM, PACS, HL7, and clinical imaging workflows.
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively with both technical and clinical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience with enterprise imaging software or radiology tools.
* Scripting or light coding skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
* Familiarity with HL7, networking, or healthcare security standards.
