Responsibilities
SHEQ & Compliance:
* Promote Safety First culture and ensure all SHEQ standards are understood and implemented across sites.
* Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of construction phase plans, H&S files and project-specific quality plans.
* Ensure subcontractors are pre-qualified and verified before commencing work.
* Review safety, environmental and quality documentation for adequacy and compliance.
* Coordinate and participate in project pre-start / pre-commencement meetings.
* Conduct regular site SHEQ audits and prepare weekly reports.
* Liaise with clients, regulatory representatives and internal stakeholders as required.
* Support statutory, ISO and management system compliance across all live projects.
* Provide coaching and guidance to project teams to reinforce best practice and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* DIP OHS or equivalent SHEQ / safety qualification.
* Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety best practice.
* Understanding of quality and environmental management principles.
* Experience working with ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to influence, support and challenge site teams to continually improve SHEQ performance.
* German language skills are required for our current works in the Frankfurt area.
Experience:
* Previous experience in a SHEQ role within the construction sector.
* Experience delivering SHEQ audits and working with subcontractor compliance.
* Prior involvement in site-based operational support within a fast-paced construction environment.
* Fluency in English
