To strengthen our capability we are looking for an Engineer Piping / Process for Construction to work on a large scale pharma construction project.
This is a site based role.
12+ Months Contract.
Responsibilities
1. Implement the applicable processes and procedures to manage the Piping construction activities.
2. Delivery of the Mechanical workscope of mechanical construction, hands-on experience in the delivery of highly serviced sites and management capability to balance the competing project requirements.
3. Liaises with General Contractor and Design Team to make best decisions for the project that align with the project objectives. Understands the design concepts, drawings and specifications and ensure safe and compliant execution of works with the required outcomes.
4. Understands the applicable statutory and utility interfaces including submittal and coordination requirements to support the mechanical construction activities and services connections required.
5. Understands the project direction and drives the key milestones to achieve the required project schedule. Monitors progress against the schedule and facilitates planning to mitigate challenges.
6. Provides weekly and monthly status and progress reports across Safety, Quality and Schedule for Mechanical construction including identification of risks and responses.
Qualifications
7. Minimum of 5 years’ experience process / process piping experience
8. Demonstrable Strong stakeholder and technical engineering abilities
9. Diploma / Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or Related discipline
10. Fluent German and English Languages
11. Good interpersonal skills with proven ability of collaboration within a multi-discipline team in a large scale construction environment.
12. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with proven capability in reporting to senior management levels.
13. Good organizational and time management skills with ability to produce accurate work within strict timelines.
14. Operates independently to a high standard.
