Operational Excellence Manager
This role is pivotal in Amazon's operations team, responsible for driving team success and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance.
* Analyse shift performance against key objectives, developing strategies to enhance operational excellence.
* Collaborate closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
* Design and implement initiatives across sites to boost operational performance.
A day in the life:
You'll lead shifts at one of our operational sites. As a source of leadership, you will guide your team to excel in their roles, supporting them to become outstanding managers.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree.
* Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management.
* Advanced proficiency in the local language.
* Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to inform business decisions.
* Background in key areas of production and supply chains.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, preferred qualifications include experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques.
Previous experience working in similar logistical environments would be beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting is advantageous.
