We are searching for an Operations Manager, Area Manager Logistics, Data Analyst or comparable as Station Area Manager.Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. As a Station Area Manager, you’ll make sure your sites are running as smoothly as they should so that we can meet customer demand.You will review station KPIs and processes and manage stakeholders to keep our operations safe, efficient, and of a high quality and take on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity. Key job responsibilities- Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing - Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level - Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility - Analyse station performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence - Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise practices A day in the lifeYou’ll typically work early shift (start at 6:00 am) and make sure your sites are as productive as they can be. A typical day is varied, including everything from routine stakeholder management and daily operational responsibilities to process improvement and wide-scale operational contingency tasks.Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.Relevant experience in a logistics or data driven environment, e. g. as Operations Manager or Data Analyst- Relevant experience in stakeholder management or people management- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions - Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and GermanBEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONENOne or more of the following qualifications would be a plus:- A University degree - Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques - Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
