What you´ll do
* Champion a bold, transformation-first mindset to challenge the status quo and spark innovation as a driving force in the Digital Transformation department
* Be the translator between business needs and AI capabilities, partner with business stakeholders to uncover high-impact challenges in our global production and supply chain and identify where AI can make a real difference
* Build clear, ambitious roadmaps to scale AI prototypes into real-world solutions that deliver measurable business value
* Turn ideas into intelligent solutions by designing AI architectures that combine the right models, technologies, tools, and data pipelines
* Stay hands-on and innovative from rapid prototyping to testing cutting-edge models and technologies in real use cases (forecasting, optimization, GenAI agents, …)
* Inspire and lead junior data scientists and engineers while collaborating cross-functionally to scale AI across the organization
What makes you a good fit
* Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computational Finance, or related fields
* At least 6 years of hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics roles, ideally within an industrial context. Experience in supply chain or manufacturing environments is a strong advantage
* Proven track record in designing and delivering end-to-end AI/ML solutions, from building models, to creating solutions that integrate data, business logic, and deployment. Excellent coding skills in Python and proficient with modern AI/ML technologies and tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, LLMs, agentic AI, …)
* Experience working with data processing frameworks (e.g., SQL, Spark), cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and collaborative development practices (e.g., Git, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, MLOps)
* Strong business acumen and the ability to engage confidently with non-technical stakeholders. You excel at translating complex business problems into AI use cases and value-driven prototypes
* Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus
