Our client is a leading global Telecom Towers company that now requires a Senior Legal Counsel who will be responsible for the day-to-day legal operations of the German business. This hybrid role, based in Berlin, will require an experienced Commercial, German-qualified Lawyer with ambition and confidence to lead the German Legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Telecommunications and/or Real Estate industry.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for negotiating a variety of property agreements and contracts related to the lease/purchase/use of land and space for telecommunications infrastructure; the drafting of service agreements to support the business; and supporting the financial, corporate and compliance requirements for the business.
The ideal candidate:
* German-qualified Legal Counsel with a minimum of 5 PQE
* Expertise in German Real Estate and Contract Law
* In-depth knowledge of dealing with the land register data of a property
* Fluent English, written and spoken
* Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
