To start as soon as possible, full time / part time, permanentYour future plansAs a member of the RWE Structured Finance team, you will develop innovative project finance solutions for our Renewables segment. Your main responsibilities include structuring, negotiating, and executing non-recourse project finance solutions across RWE’s renewable technologies and markets. You will guide project teams through complex financing processes, interact with external advisors, and support internal decision-making to close financing structures tailored to each project's needs. Your work will impact the future of renewable energy and allow you to contribute your expertise in a meaningful way.Assume full responsibility for preparing, structuring, negotiating, and executing complex financing solutions for renewable projects, and coordinate with all internal and external project parties on finance-related topics.Support RWE’s M&A activities by conducting financial due diligence on topics such as financing structures, contingent liabilities, and hedging; identify risks and opportunities; develop mitigation plans; assist in drafting transaction documents; and accompany transactions to closing.Prepare, apply for, and execute export credit insurances and investment guarantees, such as those provided by the Federal Republic of Germany.Serve as the primary contact for external debt advisors, scoping and negotiating debt advisory mandates.Advise the RWE Renewables Group on finance-related queries, including financial risk assessment, leasing, financing structures, and rating implications.Develop, draft, and review internal finance directives and manage approval processes.Hold a university degree in finance, banking, or economics.Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in non-recourse project finance, including securing significant project debt and participating in multiple transactions, with at least one in a lead role.Possess a strong understanding of corporate and structured finance solutions, such as non-recourse project financing, cash flow-based instruments, leasing, etc.Have knowledge of related disciplines like legal, valuation, tax, and accounting, and the ability to coordinate across these areas in cross-functional teams.Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex structures clearly.Exhibit intercultural competence, high commitment, resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindset.Be fluent in German and English.Be willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.Advantages, but not essentialKnowledge of the renewable energy marketAdditional language skillsBenefits offeredAt RWE, you'll enjoy the advantages of a large technology group, including a culture of openness and teamwork.
