Research Associate / PhD Candidate (f/m/d)
Your tasks:
1. Multiscale simulations of stimuli-responsive functional materials
2. Investigation of structural and dynamic properties of molecular switches and machines
3. Development and application of evolutionary algorithms, neural networks and machine learning for modeling, evaluation and visualization of dynamic phenomena
4. Scientific collaboration and exchange with experimental groups
Your profile:
5. Successfully completed undergraduate studies (M.Sc. or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or a related field
6. High motivation to learn, develop and apply new theoretical methods
7. Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team
8. Ideally experience in working with quantum chemistry and/or molecular mechanics software packages and programming
9. Good communication skills in English, both oral and written
