What awaits you at Mynaric
* Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning machines for the production of precision prototype components;experience in 5-axis simultaneous machining is welcome
* Interpret complex CAD drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Develop the individual machining strategy using the CAM-software SIEMENS NX CAM.Proven understanding of Heidenhain controls and G-code CNC-programming for 5-axis machining
* Support CAD design tasks, including modifying models or preparing manufacturing-ready data. Design and develop tooling and fixturing concepts for complex machining operations
* Manufacture individual parts and small batches according to technical drawings and 3D models
* Supervise machine operations and adjust parameters to achieve optimal results
* Performing process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
* Maintain machines, tools, and equipment, including basic troubleshooting
* Optimize programs, machining strategies,and workflows to improve efficiency and quality
What you bring with you
* Minimum of 2years experience in CNC milling and/or CNC turning, ideally in prototype or precision manufacturing
* In-depth knowledge of cutting machining parameters for typical aerospace materials
* Experience with work holding, jigs, and fixturing for complex components on 5-axis CNC equipment
* Confident in reading technical drawings and understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)based on ISO GPS
* Experience with CNC programming with Heidenhain controls
* Strong experience with CAM-software, especially SIEMENS NX CAM
* Independent and structured working style, with a strong commitment to quality
* Hands-on mentality, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to use a wide range of precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, bore gauges, thread gauges, indicators, plug gauges, etc.)
* Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel), strong organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
