WHO MAY APPLY ?:

Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany.

AND

EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany.


Hauptaufgaben

Automated supply clerk processes all high-priority and routine priority aircraft requisitions. They request, issue, stock, account for and turn-in all Class IX (air) repair parts, special tools, and components as directed by supervisor. Supply clerks maintain logs and files for manually prepared forms. Issue, account for and receive all tools signed out and signed in to the tool room using both manual and or automated Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) processes. Clerk will be required to work various hours in support of operations within the organization.

Manages stock records by posting receipts, issues, due-ins, and balance on hand utilizing the authorized Logistics Information System i.e. GCSS-A or Aircraft Notebook (ACN) etc. Maintains the stock records of Bench Stock with accountability and inventory requirements governed by the applicable governing regulation.

Performs other duties as assigned.

C-4a:

E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below.

Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.

E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below.
E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.

Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.


• Applicant must be in the possession of a valid driver's license class B.
• Forklift license required.
• Office automation skills required.


LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level B2 AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen

This is a temporary full-time position (38.5 hrs /week) until return of permanent incumbent, not to exceed 31 March 2027.

• Working on weekends and holidays as well as rotating shift work required.
• Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
