Our world-class piling rigs have more than 150 years of experience in erecting foundations and structures of any size, anytime, anywhere.MENCK's hammer technology, which is used for the oil and gas industry, for wind turbines and for building and civil engineering, is capable of operating in the most adverse climatic conditions around the world.MENCK is currently looking for Head of Proposals (m/w/d) for his team based in Kaltenkirchen.Duties & Responsibilities• Responsible for all tasks including direct reporting to the Business Line Sales Director• Ensuring the preparation of all offers/tenders (including checking the tender documents) as well as responsibility for compiling all necessary documents for the business line• Introduction of a uniform offer creation across the entire business line. Contracts are also created in a uniform Marine Foundations layout (tbd Acteon Marketing) for all segment brands.• Implementation of a business line-wide offering strategy in collaboration with those responsible.• Supporting sales, contracts, and project managers in contract negotiations for rental and sales projects• Carrying out a contract handover to project management supporting the sales managers.• Collaboration with sales and marketing as part of the continuous improvement of sales brochures and further development of tender documents• Supporting the (regional) sales managers across the business line globally and the sales team in Asia and UK with tenders/offers in the respective sales regions• Coordination and execution of the review throughout the entire offer process, from the tender to the contract negotiation to the handover from sales to project management.• Coordination of technical and commercial feasibility studies and associated resources• Coordination of geotechnical analysis studies and associated resources• Collaboration with sales and marketing in developing competitive strategies with the aim of increasing market share.• Support for sales and marketing as part of new/further product developments and marketing campaigns.• If necessary, participation in representing the OpCos in the business line during customer visits and marketing activities (e.g. trade fairs)Required• Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering with major in mechanical or civil, or comparable training• Leadership experience from a relevant position• Several years of professional experience in project management, tender or sales management, ideally from an industry related to the energy industry or a comparable industry• Technical, commercial and legal knowledge• First experience with matrix organizations• Fluent spoken and written English• Strategic and strong entrepreneurial mindset• Strong commitment to details, quality and operational as well as workplace safety• Communication security at all hierarchy levels• Persuasion and negotiation skills to mediate between everyone involved in the company's success.• Very high self-motivation as well as effective action and implementation strengthWe offer• Flexible working hours and the possibility of mobile working• Discounted membership to a fitness/wellness club• Subsidies for travel allowances and meals• JobRad• VWL• Company pension scheme•VFree drinks and fruitApplicants who are applying for this position and would like to add a cover letter to their application are asked to upload their cover letter and CV in one document.
