For the major semiconductor construction project
in Dresden, we are looking for an experienced
Interface Manager
to start
as soon as possible
for a
2-year assignment .
In this role, you will identify, coordinate and control all technical, physical and organisational interfaces across the project to ensure smooth integration between disciplines and parties—preventing gaps, clashes, delays and cost overruns.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the
Interface Management Plan (IMP) Identify internal and external interfaces between engineering packages, contractors and stakeholders Build and maintain
interface registers
and
responsibility matrices (RACI) Facilitate and lead interface coordination meetings; track actions/issues via structured logs and minutes Ensure alignment between
engineering/design ,
construction execution
and
schedule Manage interfaces across multiple contracts in
multi-package
or
EPC
projects Coordinate external interfaces with utilities, authorities and third parties Identify interface-related risks, define mitigations, and escalate critical interface conflicts to project leadership Support
claim avoidance
through clear documentation of interface responsibilities Assess impacts of design/scope changes and ensure updates are reflected in drawings, models and schedules (e.g., BIM)
Requirements Degree in
Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management
or similar Minimum 5 years
of experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects Strong background in
interdisciplinary coordination
across multiple engineering and site teams Experience in
EPC, PMC or multi-contractor
project environments is a strong advantage Confident with project management tools such as
Primavera, MS Project, BIM platforms Fluent in
German and English
