Responsibilities:
* Expert point of contact for all questions relating to national tax law (direct taxes) for our domestic legal entities
* This includes ongoing tax advice, including support with annual financial statements, tax return tasks, independent handling of external tax audits, and tax advice for domestic M&A projects
* Advising business groups on income tax issues and supporting the HR department in matters relating to (international) employee secondments
* Monitoring developments in tax legislation and administrative interpretations and assessing the impact on the companies served
* Further development of the tax department with regard to digitalization and process optimization
Qualifications:
* Diploma / Master's degree or comparable training and at least 3 years of professional experience in industry, at an auditing or tax consulting firm, or in financial administration
* Successfully passed tax advisor exam preferred
* Very good knowledge of German corporate tax law and experience in the area of income tax and international employee secondment, or willingness to learn about these topics
* Confident use of MS Office and DATEV, experience in SAP/FI is an advantage
* Very good written and spoken English
* Independent, responsible way of working and strong service orientation
* High level of initiative and willingness to work in a team
