What you'll do
* You take strategic ownership of Global IT Procurement, providing both disciplinary and functional leadership to Category Managers and Buyers while mentoring talent, building capabilities, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement
* In close partnership with IT, Finance, and other stakeholders, you will define and execute Knauf’s Global IT category strategy, ensuring alignment with security, data privacy, legal requirements, and procurement targets
* You will generate market intelligence and spend analyses to uncover opportunities, shape sourcing strategies, and lead fact-based negotiations that deliver optimal commercial and contractual outcomes
* Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation, performance and governance, and secure global stakeholder buy-in as a trusted business partner
* Ultimately, you will deliver measurable savings and value, govern and continuously enhance S2C and P2P processes, and rigorously track, report, and communicate performance against procurement KPIs and targets
Who you are
* With a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, you bring extensive experience in strategic IT procurement, managing high multi‑million‑euro spend in international environments, delivering measurable results and leading teams—with management consulting experience considered a plus
* You demonstrate strong executive presence with exceptional communication and influencing skills, effectively engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels and senior supplier leadership teams
* Driven, persuasive, and self‑motivated, you combine strong team spirit with an entrepreneurial mindset and excel in cross‑functional collaboration within multicultural settings
* You have deep expertise in IT category management, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing (including complex negotiations), and you are an excellent business partner in product‑driven IT organizations
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, and additional languages are a plus
