Systems Administrator - Windows (m/f/d)
Rocket Factory Augsburg is seeking an experienced Network and Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) to join our diverse and agile IT team. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working on a broad range of technologies to support RFA’s mission of making access to space affordable for all.
Your Tasks
1. Administer and maintain a multi-site hybrid Active Directory and Azure AD environment.
2. Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to ensure compliance, security, and system consistency.
3. Manage endpoint management systems (, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or equivalent) for patching, configuration, and software deployment.
4. Monitor and report on IT assets and software license usage using Lansweeper and other tools.
5. Ensure software license compliance, tracking renewals, usage, and optimizing costs.
6. Support and optimize Windows server and client infrastructure, including updates, hardening, and performance tuning.
7. Create and update documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
8. Respond to and resolve IT tickets, providing exceptional support and troubleshooting for end-users.
Your Qualifications
9. A degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or
10. At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant role.
11. Proven experience inWindows system administrationin enterprise or multi-site environments.
12. Strong knowledge ofActive Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid identity management.
13. Experience withGroup Policy design and troubleshooting.
14. Familiarity withendpoint management systems(Intune, SCCM, or equivalent).
15. Hands-on experience withLansweeperor other IT asset and license management tools.
16. Knowledge ofvirtualization platformssuch as VMware or Proxmox is beneficial.
17. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
18. Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are conducted in English).
