The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant to support our team during a temporary capacity gap caused by upcoming maternity leaves.
This role is focused on relieving workload within the existing team, while also contributing to key S/4HANA rollouts and finance transformation projects across Europe, including initiatives in wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and electronic VAT.
Due to a tight hiring timeline and immediate project needs, this is offered as a fixed-term contract, with freelance options considered where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and support process design blueprints in Finance & Controlling
* Translate business requirements into functional SAP (FICO) designs
* Execute and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Contribute to S/4HANA rollouts and implementations across multiple business areas
* Provide functional support for controlling topics, ensuring continuity while senior team members focus on front-office activities
Your Profile
* Strong experience in SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO)
* Hands-on knowledge of controlling processes (e.g. cost center accounting, profit center accounting, posting logic)
* Good understanding of IFRS and financial processes, and how they translate into SAP
* Experience with SAP ECC (R/3) and/or S/4HANA
* Ability to operate as a functional consultant (SAP certification not required)
Additionally, you are either:
* An SAP FICO functional consultant, or
* A senior accounting / controlling professional with strong SAP exposure and technical affinity
✔️ Experience in retail, fashion, or FMCG is a plus
Working Model
* Hybrid setup (on-site in Herzogenaurach / Nuremberg area + remote)
* Full-time preferred
* Part-time (3–4 days/week) considered for senior candidates
