Aufgaben der Stelle
Overview Bullish is an institutionally focused global digital asset platform providing market infrastructure and information services, including Bullish Exchange, CoinDesk Indices, CoinDesk Data, and CoinDesk Insights. This description covers the Director, European Sales role within Bullish’s European entity based in Frankfurt and open to candidates across Europe.
Role & Responsibilities Identify, originate, and develop new institutional client relationships across Europe, targeting banks, asset managers, hedge funds, fintechs, prime brokers, and family offices in key European financial centres.
Manage a portfolio of existing senior institutional accounts, acting as a trusted point of contact at Director, MD, and C-suite level, deepening engagement and driving adoption of Bullish’s Exchange and product suite.
Lead the full sales lifecycle for new clients – from prospecting and product education through commercial negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
Articulate the Bullish value proposition with authority, covering exchange infrastructure, market microstructure, liquidity, product capabilities, and Bullish’s regulatory and compliance standing under MiCA.
Collaborate with Head of European Sales and the broader global sales team to execute against regional revenue targets, share market intelligence, and contribute to commercial strategy.
Coordinate with product, technology, legal, and compliance teams to ensure client requirements are understood and Bullish’s offering remains competitive for European institutional needs.
Represent Bullish at senior industry events, forums, and client meetings across Europe, raising the firm’s profile within institutional financial services and digital asset communities.
Monitor European regulatory developments – including MiCA and BaFin requirements – and contribute to ensuring a compliant and appropriately positioned sales approach with regulated counterparties.
Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 10–14 years of institutional sales or business development experience within European financial services, with significant time in a senior client-facing sales role at banks, prime brokers, exchanges, asset managers, or fintechs.
Established network of active relationships at Director, MD, and C-suite level across European financial institutions and digital asset firms, with ability to leverage these relationships to drive commercial outcomes across the region.
Proven track record as an individual contributor, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and closing complex, multi-stakeholder institutional transactions.
Hands-on, execution-oriented professional who is reliable, takes ownership for outcomes, and collaborates effectively within a team-oriented culture.
Experience with institutional sales tools and platforms (CRM, pipeline management, productivity tools), with adaptability and willingness to adopt new technologies including AI-powered tools to enhance sales execution and efficiency.
Bonus and Skills Prior experience selling to a regulated European exchange, digital asset venue, or trading infrastructure provider.
Existing relationships with crypto-native European institutions, digital asset funds, or family offices with active digital asset programs.
Fluency in additional European languages beyond English (German, French, Italian, Spanish, or other relevant languages) is valued.
Familiarity with MiCA’s CASP licensing framework and its commercial implications for institutional digital asset participation in the EU.
