Design, sizing, verification and validation of thermal control systems according to customer requirements and feasibility with regard to manufacturing, integration, cost, schedule, quality and riskThermal analysis including thermal modelling, verification, validation and assessment of analysis resultsSupport of thermal hardware definition and its implementation and verificationSupport of reviews (from system to equipment level) and presentation of work results to internal and external customersSupport of system engineers during design, development and implementation at system and sub-system levelPreparation and execution of thermal tests in cooperation with AIT including creation of test specifications and definition of test conditions and test set up including ground support equipment as well as verification and validation of test resultsGeneration and maintenance of thermal control system documentationYour QualificationsDegree in engineering with a major in aerospace engineering or comparable qualificationsSeveral years of professional experience in space thermal engineering is preferredExperience in the design of thermal control systems, spacecraft thermal engineering and analysis for spacecraft is preferredStrong problem-solving skillsHigh motivation and proactive involvement with a strong passion for space and spacecraft engineeringStrong communication and negotiation skills (preferably English and German)Experience in subcontractor management is preferredIn-depth knowledge of ESATAN-TMS, or a similar thermal analysis softwareUsed to work in an international environment
