Your Job:
The PhD candidate will be in charge of:
1. The development of photopolymerizable hydrogel blends with n-type and p-type semiconductor capabilities
2. The pattering of the semiconducting hydrogel into biomimetic microstructures with 2-photon polymerization setup
3. The evaluation of morphological and electrochemical device properties in biological conditions
4. The validation for in-vitro cell interfacing
5. The communication with internal and external as well as national and international project partners
The project will include two secondments (6 months each):
6. Stuttgart University (USTUTT): formulation of n- and p-type hydrogels
7. Linkopings Universitet (LiU): development of the neurohybrid network
The work will be done in close collaboration with the other members of the FADOS network.
