Ready to own it, build it, and grow it? The Mission Publitas turns static, dead PDFs into interactive, shoppable digital content discovery experiences. Across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH), massive retailers and e-commerce brands are sitting on print catalogs that need to move digital. Your mission as Senior Account Executive is simple: take complete ownership of the DACH territory, aggressively prospect into mid-market and enterprise retail accounts, and turn relationships into closed ARR. We work 80% asynchronously and judge you entirely on pipeline velocity and quota achievement—not on the number of hours you sit on Zoom. What Success Looks Like (Your First 90 Days) We don't measure you by years of experience; we measure you by outcomes. Here is what you will achieve in your first 3 months: Day 30: You have completely mastered the Publitas value proposition, understand our core retail/e-commerce personas, and have built a targeted list of your top 50 high-priority DACH accounts. Day 60: You have independently built and launched multichannel outbound sequences. You are running discovery calls completely unassisted and have successfully moved your first self-generated opportunities into the negotiation stage (at least 1). Day 90: Your outbound engine is predictable. You have built an active pipeline worth 3x your quarterly target and closed your first mid-market DACH deal. The DNA of a Sales Executive at Publitas (Culture & Ownership) Founder-Level Ownership: You treat the DACH territory like your own independent business. You don't wait around for inbound marketing leads, sales enablement decks, or a manager to tell you who to call. You map the territory, identify the decision-makers, and architect the outbound strategies required to break into enterprise accounts from scratch. A Continuous Growth Mindset: Modern B2B sales cycles shift rapidly, and legacy sales scripts no longer work on smart e-commerce buyers. You are constantly experimenting with new outreach mediums, testing messaging hooks, and studying the digital retail landscape. When a deal stalls, you don't blame the product, you treat it as a data point to dissect, learn from, and iterate your approach for the next pitch. High Autonomy, Zero Ego: In a remote-first, asynchronous sales team, there is nowhere to hide behind "busywork" or metrics vanity. You thrive on being judged entirely by your pipeline health and closed ARR. You don't need continuous synchronous cheerleading; your motivation is entirely internal. The Non-Negotiables Native/Fluent German & Professional English: You will be closing deals in German; you will be collaborating with the global team in English. Proven B2B SaaS Closing Record: You have spent at least 3 years managing full-cycle sales cycles (from cold outreach to signed contract) directly within the DACH retail, e-commerce, or digital marketing spaces. Outbound Execution: You do not wait for inbound marketing leads. You know how to multi-thread accounts and hunt your own pipeline. AI-First Execution: We do not scale headcount to solve manual problems. You must have a proven track record of working in an AI-first way, leveraging generative AI tools to hyper-personalize outbound messaging, automate account research, summarize call data, and accelerate your sales velocity. At Publitas, we see AI as a core lever for performance, efficiency, and innovation. We expect all team members to actively use AI in their daily work to improve quality, speed, and output. Depending on the role, this ranges from effectively using AI tools in day-to-day workflows to designing and scaling AI-driven systems. We are not looking for candidates who are “AI-curious”; we look for people who already use AI to do better work and can demonstrate tangible impact.
