For our UK Investment Banking division in London, we are looking to hire a
Senior Associate
Your role in the team:
After some exciting client wins, our UK Investment Banking team is looking to find a highly motivated individual to join our successful Metals & Mining sector team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate finance or investment banking or will be a high-calibre ACA professional looking to change careers. Sector experience is a requirement.
What will you do?
* Working with the wider team on ECM, M&A and advisory mandates for new and existing clients
* Prepare and review pitch books and strategic presentation materials for company boards
* Undertaking detailed sector research and monitor mining sector news (equity market activity, com-pany performance, strategic activity and newsflow)
* Conduct financial modelling and sensitivity analysis as required
* Attending meetings and calls with mandated and potential clients, strategic investors and private equity
Who are we looking for?
* Degree Educated
* For ACA candidates, previous experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Valuations, Advisory, Transaction Services departments or similar is highly advantageous
* Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high quality of work
* Highly motivated with a strong desire to work in the Metals & Mining sector
* Excellent Excel and Powerpoint presentation skills
