Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG) is responsible for promoting the company's cloud and industry Internet strategy. What the Role Entails

Position Overview

Tencent Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager who would be based in Frankfurt. The chosen candidate will be tasked with creating and handling Tencent Cloud's most significant and strategic digital native and MNC accounts in DACH region. Through a strategic approach, this individual will establish sales priorities and action plans, deliver/surpass cloud sales goals, and cultivate valuable relationships with key stakeholders of target accounts in DACH region. This individual will play a crucial role in driving Cloud revenue growth, attracting new large strategic accounts (Automotive/Mechanical/Pharmaceuticals/Retail/Media), and negotiating and managing large contracts.

Job Respnsibilities

1. Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution-based sales opportunities

2. Develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders

3. Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on large digital native accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral

4. Partner with the Legal/FIN/Tax teams on contract negotiations

5. Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential

6. Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment

7. Be an expert on Tencent’s cloud's digital native offerings, working to understand customers' needs and providing service solutions

8. Develop strategic plans based on industry trending and customer analysis

9. Accountable and instrumental in increasing high-profile cloud platform contracts

10. Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments

11. Manage sales life-cycle for all accounts

Who We Look For

Job Requirements

12. 10+ years B2B sales experience in the technology/Internet/digital sector

13. Experience selling at C-level

14. Exhibits a “hunter” mentality and possesses an outstanding ability to close sales

15. Proven record and strong capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities and sell

16. Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customer and staff at all levels

17. Ability to solve customer-related problems in a positive manner

18. Strong in consultative and insight-based selling

19. Experience articulating complex solutions to decision-makers and executives

20. Proven ability to grow revenue and manage accounts

21. Experience analyzing data, trends and the market to develop key selling points

22. Experience with Automotive/ E-commerce is a plus

23. English and German at B2 level, native proficiency Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus
