A Technical Program Manager (TPM) is a specialized role at a major social media platform focused on driving the execution of complex technical programs and projects. TPMs leverage their technical expertise, program leadership, and strategic influence to proactively identify and solve problems, drive alignment across cross-functional teams, and increase execution efficiency and communications.
Responsibilities
* Help define the right scope, goals, and metrics for projects and programs.
* Build alignment between teams and coordinate dependencies.
* Identify risks early and work to reduce surprises.
* Keep stakeholders informed and ensure transparency.
* Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
* Enhance process structures to support project teams.
* Advocate for quality in technical design and system architectures, and influence team culture for higher product quality.
* Work closely with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure successful outcomes, particularly in areas like privacy, compliance, and data governance relevant to eDiscovery and Information Governance teams.

* Proven experience driving the execution of complex technical programs and projects.
* Strong technical expertise and program leadership skills.
* Ability to proactively identify and solve problems.
* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing dependencies.
* Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed and ensure transparency.
* Skilled in risk identification and mitigation.
* Experience improving process structures to support project teams.
* Ability to advocate for quality in technical design and system architectures.
* Preferred experience working with privacy, compliance, and data governance teams.
