Open-Source Intelligence Watch Analyst, Senior
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) specialist to serve as the lead for a 24/7 combatant command watch floor team. In this role, you will conduct and oversee OSINT/PAI research and analysis in direct support of time-sensitive intelligence requirements, ensuring your team delivers clear, actionable insights to senior leaders and operational staff. You will manage day-to-day watch floor operations, mentor analysts across multiple shifts, and set priorities during high-pressure and crisis-driven situations.
As the team lead, you will balance hands-on research and analysis with supervisory responsibilities. Because the watch operates continuously, you will often lead analysts you may not see in person every day, requiring strong communication, clear guidance, and consistent enforcement of standards across shifts. You will be responsible for maintaining alignment and continuity in production, ensuring timely and accurate reporting that supports crisis response and contingency operations. You Have:
1. 5+ years of experience in OSINT or PAI research, collection methods, and multi-source intelligence systems
2. 3+ years of experience authoring intelligence products, such as OSIRs, in compliance with ICD standards
3. Experience leading or mentoring intelligence analysts in a watch, operations center, or all-source analytic environment
4. Experience with PAI platforms, datasets, technologies, associated tradecraft, and geo-enabled tools within the Defense Intelligence Enterprise
5. Experience working on an intelligence watch staff at the national, combatant command, intelligence center, or service headquarters level
6. Ability to brief senior leadership, manage reporting standards, and mentor colleagues
7. Ability to lead during crisis conditions, prioritize team tasks, and enforce production deadlines in a high-tempo operational environment
8. Ability to support rotating shift schedules and surge operations during crises and contingencies
9. TS/SCI clearance
10. HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with intelligence, Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience with intelligence, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence
Nice If You Have:
11. Experience in defense all-source analysis or relevant military writing ICD-203 compliant products
12. Experience supporting intelligence analysis related to African political, security, or socio-economic issues
13. Experience collecting and analyzing information from specific organization media outlets
14. Experience identifying and analyzing disinformation networks, including source vetting for bias and information accuracy, and in conducting geolocation analysis using imagery, video, and other graphic sources
15. Experience with other intelligence disciplines such as SIGINT, HUMINT, and GEOINT
16. Experience supervising intelligence analysts in a 24/7 or crisis operations environment
17. Experience with establishing or refining watch floor SOPs and reporting standards
18. Ability to demonstrate proficiency at 2/2 DLPT or equivalent in French or another critical language
19. Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
20. Completion of government or commercial OSINT training such as BOSIC, BOTC, AOTC, DIA Basic OSINT Course, CASO, or SANS 487

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
