About the role

We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Operations Intern to join our team. This role is designed for a student or recent graduate eager to understand the inner workings of a high-end hotel. You will rotate through key departments—including Front Office and Housekeeping—to learn how we deliver a seamless guest experience.
Your responsibilities
* Guest Experience & Front Office
o Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs using our Property Management System (PMS).
o Provide concierge-level recommendations for local attractions, dining, and transport.
o Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints with professional diplomacy.
* Rooms Division & Housekeeping
o Conduct room inspections to ensure they meet our "perfect arrival" standards.
o Coordinate with the maintenance team regarding any facility repairs or guest requests.
o Assist the Housekeeping Manager with staff scheduling and laundry logistics.
* Administrative & Management Support
o Attend weekly operations meetings to understand KPI tracking (Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR).
o Help update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various departments.
o Assist the General Manager with special projects, such as event planning or guest feedback analysis.
Your qualifications
* 1 year of study or work experience in the hospitality or customer service industry, preferably in a hotel or serviced apartment
* Proficiency in German and English; additional languages are a plus
* Proven ability to exceed guest expectations and achieve high satisfaction scores
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing guest concerns
* Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Drive, and PMS/helpdesk systems
* Willingness to work rotating shifts, 5 days a week (including weekends and public holidays)
