On behalf of Multimodal Solutions (Shortsea), MARPRO Group is looking for a Customer Service Agent for the office in Hamburg. You will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and become part of an engaged team of 17 colleagues.
The job
As a Customer Service Agent in the Multimodal Solutions (Shortsea) team, you support customers throughout the entire shipment process - from bookings and documentation to coordination and delivery. You act as the main point of contact for your assigned customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate order handling, and smooth cargo flow across departments.
Working closely with colleagues in operations, inland transport, equipment, finance, and sales, you secure reliable service execution and proactively resolve any issues that may arise. In this role, you contribute directly to service quality and continuous improvements while gaining solid insight into multimodal logistics and shortsea shipping.
Professional qualifications
* Experience in customer service within logistics, shipping, or transport
* Understanding of transport and logistics processes
* Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and tasks
* Confident user of relevant IT systems, booking platforms, and Microsoft Office tools
* Strong communication skills
